MENTAL HEALTH FOCUSED: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
OBJECTIVES
On average, 5-6 students experience a daily mental health crisis, roughly 5 per classroom, yet educators often lack the tools to help. This contributes to high teacher dissatisfaction, with 90% unhappy in their jobs, leading to a turnover rate above 20%. Students with mental health issues are more likely to be suspended without receiving help, especially in districts with high suspension rates where educators are less equipped to support them. The mental well-being of students and teachers is closely linked to these challenges.
SOLUTION
Masomo Group Consulting aims to equip teachers with the necessary tools to support students before, during, and after a crisis. Additionally, we provide teachers with self-help techniques to enhance and sustain a positive mental well-being. These strategies are designed to enhance the classroom atmosphere, improve suspension rates and contribute to teacher retention.

- Provides strategies to support students who are frequently suspended and who may have experienced trauma.
- The strategies provided may benefit all students.
- This 3-hour course serves as both training and assessment.
- COST: $75 per person.

- Cost for this whole group 1-hour course is $50 per person.
- Cost for one on one coaching is $100 per session.
